Baked Camembert Cheese with Pears and Walnuts

Camembert cheese makes it possible to make this type of very attractive elaborations, in this case an exquisite dessert very easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 Camembert cheese
  • 2 pears
  • 2 spoonfuls of brown sugar
  • 1 nut of butter
  • 50 g. walnuts
  • 100 g. white sugar

Preparation

  1. Peel the pears and cut them in small dice. Put them in a saucepan or small frying pan with the nut of butter and brown sugar. Cook them at medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring now and then, until they caramelize.
  2. Cut the cheese in halves and put the bottom half on a baking tray. Fill it with half the caramelized pear and half the walnuts. Cover it with the other half of the cheese and bake it at 180ºC for 5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare a caramel with the white sugar.
  4. Take the cheese out of the oven and spread the remaining pears and walnuts all over it. Bake it a pair of minutes more, and once it’s out of the oven and on the dish it will be presented, pour the caramel over it.
