Camembert Cheese Fondue

It’s a very simple recipe, with few ingredients and easy to prepare, but very attractive for dinner and snacking. It’s great too!

Ingredients

  • 1 Camembert cheese
  • 1/2 garlic, chopped very thin
  • Oregano
  • Thyme
  • Olive oil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Maldom salt

Preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 280º.
  2. Let’s take advantage of the cheese wood box (which usually contains the Camembert cheese).Get the cheese out of the plastic paper and put some baking paper on half the wood box and the cheese on the paper. Take out the cheese top cover with a knife.
  3. Spread the chopped garlic, spices and very little olive oil over the cheese. Slightly stick the knife so as the olive oil leaks inside the cheese.
  4. In the other half of the cheese wood box put some baking paper and put the tomatoes on it (it’s better if you make small cuts on them). Spread some maldom salt and olive oil over them.
  5. Put it in the oven for 20 minutes, till cheese bubbles.

Take it out of the oven and let’s eat!

To accompany the “fondue” you can prepare baked cherry tomatoes, some other baked vegetables, bread toasts, etc.
